My glorious day started out with my alarm going off and me doing my daily routine getting ready for this GLORIOUS Monday morning.   Dancing

Had a great shower.  Smiley

Jammed to some Nickleback while getting ready.  Dancey

Had a few cups of coffee before heading out.  Buzzy

I went to pick up my cell phone to see how well I was going on time, and my clock read 2:30 A.M.  My retarded behind figured out a way to screw up my cell phone alarm.   Undecided

So needless to say, I was wide awake too damn early and screwed up my whole day.  It's 12:30 p.m. and I wanna take a nap... Cry

Ouch. Good luck with that. I'll be sending you lots of luck.

My day is going ok, after my boss freaked out on me last week and everyone here is all worried that I'm gonna up and quit and leave them stranded. My day is actually going well though.

I happen to have today off.  Something about President's day? Cheesy

But I sympathize with you Lavcea.  Pet Pet

Eek!

I had special "office hours" today, because my students have their first paper due next Monday, and my normal hours are on Mondays, which obviously didn't happen this week (what with the school being closed). Last class, I passed around a sign-up sheet, and five people signed up, starting at 11:30 and running through to 3:30. I told them that if they wanted to schedule an appointment and just weren't sure about time yet, they should e-mail me, and also to e-mail me if they needed to cancel.

Last night, I checked my e-mail, and two students canceled. Which is totally alright with me, since one of the people who canceled was my 11:30, and I could now get to work an hour later. I show up at work, and my 12:30 is waiting for me... so he can tell me that he needs to cancel the appointment. My 1:30 doesn't show up, in spite of the fact that he had been the one most insistently requesting that I schedule time to help with papers this week.

I ran into my 3:30, who also couldn't make it.

...which means I came into work three and a half hours early, for no apparent reason. And I likely won't be paid for any of it. And for some reason, a few of the male students have hit on me today, which makes me want to write inappropriate across their foreheads in sharpie.

Grrrrrrrr...

I can goez home now?

I got some pink glitter you can use to decorate their forheads, add to the shame.

Don't get me fired, woman.
