My favorite ITL short-story is Days of Endearment, but A Brother's Tale is a close second. They're so different anyways, that it's really a tie. Short/emotionally packed that leaves you wanting for more, DoE. Longer/more detailed so you can really get to know the characters, ABT.

I always think of DoE as a glimpse into their life, a sort of hazy moment in time. Most of the short stories feature folks from ITL itself, so DoE is a rare short story without our familiar folks. But it's nice to see some regular Anorians living their regular lives.
