OH!!! I sooo think we are seeing the beginning of the  Remin book!   Happy Hands Happy Dance

With Kudorin's interference and the Gods stopping Remin from going to investigate what got them all fired up I am sure that Kudorin's meddling was to put Naritano into the picture before the time that they had thought they were going to introduce Remin to Naritano.

I can't wait for next week.  I do believe that we may have a bit of time before Naritano and Remin actually meet and we will have a HUGE struggle on Remin's part about the fact that Remin doesn't want to date.  I wonder if we will find out Naritano wanted to be a bela but got called to be a chef instead?

Yep.  That's the one.  The other chefs were acting like he didn't know what he was doing and then one tried to take credit for his information and work.

So I wonder how tonights chapter is going to play out?  Will we get Tano settling into his new role as a chef in the Royal kitchens.  I hope we learn a lot more about him.  That way when him and Remin meet we will be  Party! for Tano because we will KNOW he is perfect for Remin.

Sorry I disappeared everyone! But I just had to come by and gab about Tano.

As soon as I read about him, I almost stood up and did a dance shouting "I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT!!!" Quite a while ago, Xio Voe and Kudorin were talking about hiring a chef to make Jacacean meals at the palace and it occured to me then: wouldn't it be cool if Remin fell in love with the chef they ended up hiring? (I think we tossed the idea around here on the board back then). I am so pleased to see that that idea is going to bear fruit. After all, we've already had Naritano's POV. How huge an indicator is that, especially on top of the gods' interference? I'm  most interested in how Xio Voe is going to react. With Ilanosa's blessing, he'll be able to see immediately who Tano is. I hope we get to be in his POV for that moment.

This presents a little problem for me. I have been reading ITL about once a month since, I think, August or so. Going week by week was maddening, especially since it seemed the wedding would never happen. I was planning on cancelling my subscription after Kudorin and Xio Voe FINALLY married and waiting several months, maybe even a year, to resubscribe and catch up. Now, though, I'm not so sure. I thought we'd get more time after the wedding before the Gold Book really started (I knew it had to be the Gold Book) and I'd be able to pull away before getting sucked in to another ITL romance. Alas, I fear (or rejoice?) that this is not to be. I think I'll stick to the once-a-month thing because that worked out really well, but there's no way I can pull fully back now.

Matthew, you evil genius, you!

Here and here are where we talked about Remin's future love being the Anorian chef of Jacacean cuisine. Hooya to anaskee for voicing it first, as far as I could tell.  Clap

I did that--the waiting with bated breath--for waaaay too long waiting for the wedding. Eventually I just started suffocating. However, I suspect that since it's Remin, and since it's a new book, and hopefully a shorter book (pleeeeeez MHT make it shorter than than K and XV's story), and since I'm really looking forward to seeing Xio Voe loosen up enough to join a Seven Siblings orgy, I suspect that going month to month will be harder than before. After all, I am here after 1 AM. But maybe it's better this way--in the morning, I can get the chapter on my Kindle and read it without kid interference during my plasma donation.

I'm just rereading this part.  Eeeek!  Look at Kudorin manipulating everything!  Adore I love the way he made sure that the messenger going to Tano actualy got to him, because, if he'd left things alone, it may not have happened that way.

Teee-hee.

See?

Quote
As he relaxed further, his soul expanding, his entire being open for the gods, he understood that Anosukinom had taken unplanned action.  Action that affected all of the gods and had not been agreed upon beforehand.  Most of the gods accepted Anosukinom’s action, but a couple of them had rejected it, and a minor skirmish had ensued.  But everything was fine.

Kudorin should have left things as they were.  Well, technically lol.  I'm personally very happy with the way things turned out for Remin and Tano!  At least for now - we'll see how the rest of the Gold Book unfolds!

lmfao.  I'm loving the way I can immediately tell which dish is Tano's now, even when this is the very first time we're seeing his cooking.

*giggles madly*

Yes he could have left things alone, but Remin was so lonely. Kudorin just wants him to be happy and not have to suffer anymore.  Love
