Aw, I loved it. He's going to date! I have the feeling that Naritano will become a good friend to Remin, someone Remin can talk to and confide in and relax with. No pressure, no expectation. Remin won't think of him the way he'll think of his dates, as a temporary acquaintance. That way, falling in love can just sneak up on them. And it will give Tano plenty of time to feed Remin all sorts of wonderful things. After all, the way to a man's heart with through his stomach. I can imagine that that goes double for Remin.
I loved Kudorin's little glimpses into the future:
Kudorin wished that Xio Voe would kiss him. “It’s not irresponsible to focus on relationships and tend to your partner’s emotional needs. Maintaining healthy relationships is,” and he gasped with pleasure, heat rising.
“What?” Xio Voe asked. “What are you reacting to?”
“I was,” oh, “wondering how soon you might kiss me, so I glanced into the,” ah, mmm, “future, and,” oh! Groaning, he tugged his vest open, dragging his nails across his chest, shifting impatiently on Xio Voe’s lap. “Nnn, I love it when you, unh, touch me like that.”
“It irritates me to sit idly by and watch you experience pleasure at my future self’s hands,” Xio Voe said. “I would rather you devote your attention to my current self.”
“Yes, but I’m not going to give head in the middle of a restaurant.”
“You will.”
Remin blinked slowly. “What?”
“After you’re married. The two of you are having a special dinner, alone, in a restaurant. The place is closed, the two of you are dining by candlelight. You’re enjoying the food so much that he gets aroused. You start to tease him. He-”
“Stop!” Dragging his fingers through his hair, Remin shuddered around the ache between his legs. “Shit, Kudorin. Please, not now.”
“Fuck, I love the way he moves when he comes.”
Groaning, Remin dropped across his back, covering his face with his hands. As his knees curled in towards his chest, he let himself wonder, for a fleeting moment, just how he moved during climax. Was it sharp and tense? Rolling and sinuous? A fierce, bucking movement? A helpless shuddering? “Kudorin-”
“Ssshhh, he’s giving you head, I don’t want to rush this part.”
And I'm glad that Demena seems to now be on Naritano's side. She saved him from making a misstep and gave him a good suggestion. *two thumbs up*
Now, about Anosanim and Ritek. I'm a little worried. I'm sure that Anosanim isn't going to marry Ritek but I think my theories for why it won't happen were totally off. The most likely reason I could think of was that Ritek would propose and Anosanim, while adoring Ritek like mad, wasn't actually in love with him. Now, with this bit from Kudorin, I think something else will happen:
“I feel happy and glad, but my heart hurts. I’m so glad for Anosanim, I’m happy for his happiness. I’m glad that he recognizes what he has with Ritek. I’m glad that he can finally see his love for what it is, and enjoy it, and share it. Ritek’s…” Kudorin sighed again.
“You have unvoiced thoughts about Lo Lesano?” Xio Voe guessed dryly.
“Now isn’t the time,” Kudorin decided
Ritek is devoted to Anosanim, so I cna't see him cheating or otherwise hurting or betraying Anosanim. Therefore, I have a feeling that Ritek is not long for this world. And that is really sad. Anosanim and Talin are just recently (or it just feels recent) healed from Hitari's betrayal and Talin and Ritek have gotten closer, too. Losing Ritek is going to devastate them.
