Happy Hands Dancey Happy Hands Group Hug

That was wonderful  Floating Hearts

Red Heart the fact that we had all the siblings together and Xoe Voe.  And while the Sibs were on the bed, Xoe Voe was sitting in the chair planning world domination.  It's sad Orinakin, Bade and Vade  were not there.  It does feel like there is something missing when Orinakin and Bade, and hence Vade, are not an active part of the story.  I was glad Kudorin gave us an update into what Vade was doing.  And Boo Hiss Selorin, saying that Vade may marry to advance his country instead of for love.  I am glad Vade and Dillane are in touch with each other.  Trust Anosanim to think of having some Nosupolin things front and center when Bade comes home.  I Laughing when Desin liked the idea of goats running in the halls for Norissa to practice hunting.  The cleaning staff might not like it.

YEAH!! we got another scene with Remin and Tano together.  Lo Ariside was her usual abrasive self, but I did think Naritano did an excellent job of making sure she knew that feeding everybody was his job and not just Xoe Voe.  I think the bit at the end was perfect with the joke about the bulls to diffuse what could have been a tense ending to a great encounter.  I think it is funny that Remin still does not understand it is Nartitano that is the Head Chef in Xoe Voe's kitchen and not just a helper.

Sounds like Talin's outfit for Remin was perfect and having Talin call the hairstyle Someone Has Too Much Time On His Hands  Giggle  I can't imagine what will happen IF the Bela's are allowed to date Remin but I can't imagine they will be denied the opportunity too apply.  Orinia Anoris is like that.  The date went well.  Remin enjoyed himself.   He set some boundaries in the carriage and followed through.  Go Remin!

But for me, the best part of the chapter was having all the siblings together. Group Hug

I can't wait for Orinakin, Bade and Vade to come home.

Yay, more Tano and Remin! Mountie's right, it is totally funny that Remin still doesn't realize that Naritano is Xio Voe's chef. And the seeds of Tano making Remin a Nosupolin meal have been officially planted; I can't wait for that.

I'm so glad Remin's first date went well. Despite the bit of tension at the end, it really couldn't have gone better.

But my favorite part was this:

Quote
“Speaking of belas, would you believe this?” Desin asked.  “They’re trying to figure out if they can sign up for dates with Remin.  They’ve been arguing about it all day and they want to consult with Sulano about their contracts.”

            Remin became very still.

While Anosanim tried quickly to change the subject, and Rini started to ponder aloud on whether or not belas could date Remin, and Norisa found a comfortable spot on a footstool, Remin gazed unblinking somewhere across the room.

Then Desin corrected Rini.  “No, Kudorin’s belas, too.  They were talking to Tepeni about it, and-”

Jerking into motion, Remin said, abruptly, “I’m required elsewhere,” and stalked from the room.

Norisa blinked sleepily after him, making an inquisitive noise.

“Hey,” Kudorin said mildly.  “I thought that once I became pharaoh, my partners would stop preferring Remin.”
It reminded me of a moment right before the doorwayto Jacacea was figured out. Kudorin told Xio Voe that Remin was across the hallway and Xio Voe said "Dallying with your belas?" and Kudorin responded. "They wish." It's such a testament to how appealing Remin is that even people who have sex with a god on a regular basis want to be near him in any way they can.

The conversation about Vade made me smile. I couldn't help but think of Kudorin's promise that Vade wouldn't have to marry a woman for the sake of Nosupolis. I wonder why he's keeping that to himself; his brothers would probably appreciate the reassurance. And the Sibs fascination with the furry twins was as fun as ever:
Quote
“No, give me a minute.”  Kudorin closed his eyes, leaning back.  “I want to think about having sex in the castle.  The mountain air blows so cold.  You snuggle in against your partner’s body, seeking warmth.  His chest, his thighs, he’s so deliciously furry, and-”

“Wait, who are we fucking?” Rini asked.

            “Bade,” Anosanim said.

“Tiko,” Desin said, leaning back with a grin, eyes closed.

“I’ll take Vade,” Talin said, smirking.

“Can I have Bade and Vade?” Rini asked.  “I like twins.”

            Talin rolled his eyes.

“Mmm, he always moans so earnestly, I can hear how much he wants it,” Kudorin said, sighing, rubbing his chest with one slow hand.  His hips rolled sinuously.  “When I pin him to the furs, he groans with pleasure, he loves it.”

“Two more sentences of this, and I’ll have to ask your brothers to leave,” Xio Voe said coolly.

And I had a thought: do you really think that Orinakin and Bade (because they'll find out as soon as they step off that balloon, for sure), Selorin, Desin, Anosanim, Talin, and Rini--of all people, Rini--will be able to keep the secret that Naritano will marry Remin? Keep it from Remin, that is. The brothers are in each other's pockets so much and are so open and chatty with each other that I can't help but think that one of them will let it slip at some point.

Anyone else notice that each time Remin has talked with Tano, that he has some thought about Tano tied to his bed?

Natural.  Wasn’t it natural to be attracted to a young, handsome, soft-lipped, smart, funny, sexy, compassionate, respectful, male Anorian citizen who loved to cook and would look really about perfect tied to Remin’s bed?

Naritano had, once again, responded to him as if his thoughts had been actions.  Red-eared, nearly panting, staring at him as if he were something to be consumed, or worshiped.  Remin was used to men looking at him like that when they were chained to his bed and he was undressing for them.

Add to that the "vision" from 225 where Remin is tied down.   I'm sensing a "theme" that Remin is going to insert into their interactions once they are married.

I wouldn't doubt that mooney Thinking  I am thinking we are going to get a whole bunch more bdsm with these two, once they are married. Cool

I don't know that I'd term it BDSM; calling it that implies something more hard-core than light bondage, blindfolds, and some spanking. I just can't see any of the sibs incorporating actual sadomasochism into their sex lives with any regularity, not like that one guy that Desin then Talin played with. Ditto for the D/s aspect: they'll play with it, but they're too much into equality and just plain having fun in bed to really get into it.

But I have no doubt that Naritano and Remin will take turns being tied up and erotically tortured from time to time, like when Bade and Orinakin played with Tepeni before going to Jacacea.  Drool

I agree with you CL.  Hug I do not imagine that we will see a D/s relationship at play at all.  Which is why I did not capitalize BDSM nor did I specify D/s.  For me BDSM has a very wide definition.  I see Remin, and his Siblings enjoying memories of Remin's time in the Sulatim Belam and Remin musing about tying Tano to his bed.  So I imagine that we will get some some activities that resemble bdsm in their sex play.  Not like Selorin and Vade though.  I see them much more active in that area of sex play.

I think for Kudorins sake they will keep quiet, or that if they try to slip it in, or not thinking say something off handed, that Kudorin or the other Gods will step in.  But I think it will be close.  I think this is what is going to happen.  Rini is going to brew over this conversation he had with Xoe Voe

Quote
“So Ilanosa blessed you.”

            “Yes.”

“And you know which people are probably going to end up together.”

            “Yes.”

Rini glanced at his brothers, then back at Xio Voe.  “If you ever know who I’m going to end up with, and everybody else knows, and it’s obvious to everyone in the world but me, and people are making fun of me to my face and I’m too ignorant to notice it, could you please just tell me?  I don’t want to look like an asshole just because everybody knows who I’m in love with but me.”

“You refer, of course,” Xio Voe said, “to the royal high priest and Chef Naritano Pitok.”

            “Right.”  Rini grinned.  “Of course.”

“It would seem that neither Ilanosa nor Anosukinom approves of me directly informing people of their romantic fates.  But I will endeavor to respect your wishes.”

“Thanks.”  Rini kissed his cheek and went back to burrow in against Kudorin’s side.

And he may have to go and talk to Kudorin about it OR he may fret and fume and decide that Remin needs to know and go and talk to Remin directly.  Rini's open and honest and caring and I can see that it will bother him that Remin doesn't know but everyone else does.  That's when I think Anosukinom will step in, not Kudorin because I am sure Kudorin understands why Rini will be upset.  It will have to be Anosukinom that gives direction to allow Rini the ability to back off.
