Re-reading the chapter again.  YEAH!!  Remin and Tano had a wonderful time AND Tano is going to cook some Nosupolin dishes for Remin  Party!   Can you imagine the noises that Remin was making.  I loved that Tano thought this:

Quote
Naritano had tried to focus on religion and on service and on being a respectful follower, but that was incredibly difficult to do when the hottest man he’d ever known was moaning like that, with that expression of exquisite, sensual pleasure, like someone whose balls were being mouthed with just the right amount of sweet suction.

Yes Tano, this was the best time and the worst time to meet Remin.  Flirty Blink

I am sure  Kudorin will figure a way out of this dilemma:

Quote
Ugh.  That was a shame.  A shame to keep Remin from the belas, and a shame to keep the belas from Remin.  They made sacrifices in order to keep their coveted positions, and Kudorin wanted them to be happy in their lives.  They wanted Remin, so why couldn’t they have Remin?  Kudorin understood why the rules and laws that were in place had been established, but surely if he could find a way around them, a way that would interest the belas and not violate Remin’s precious ethics...

I am enjoying the lovesex of Kudorin and Xio Voe.  My favourite still is the scene after rising the sun a few chapters ago when Kudorin fucked Xio Voe though.

Remin took not knowing Tano was Xio Voe's Chef quite well I think Thinking

Quote
“Let me regale you with tales of my brilliance.  I met him what must’ve been the day he was hired, and had no idea who he was.  Then I met him in the kitchens and still had no idea who he was.  Xio Voe had to walk me over to the kitchens today and introduce us formally for me to get a clue.

And I was  Clap wildly with this:

Quote
Selorin studied Remin, tempted to poke him.  “You’re taking this very well.  You don’t seem tormented or anguished or even very agitated.”

“That’s why I came to see you.  So that I could share my joy.  I think that I’m healing, for lack of a better term.  Maturing, perhaps.  I met Naritano, and I was forced to confront my options.  I confided in him, I confessed openly that I had some personal conflict with my sexual desires, and I told him that I needed him not to seem attracted to me.”

And BEST of all was this one:

Quote
“Mmm.”  Remin sighed.  “Is it wrong that I’m more interested in what Naritano’s going to cook for me next, more than in tonight’s date?”

No Remin it is not wrong.  I think we are going to see some amazing interactions between Remin and Tano as they fall Red Love and the realization Remin comes to that the only place he wants to be is in the Kitchen talking to Tano and eating his food.

I completely melted at  Kudorin and Li's exchange:

Quote
“Mmm.”  Li settled close, grinding gently against him.  “Your embrace is even more rewarding, when your king is near.”

Fascinated, Kudorin kissed him.  “That pleases me.  But my love for him, my desire for him, the way my soul echoes his passion for me in my passion for him, that all comes very near to the surface, when he is with me.  I love him so completely, I love all that he is with all that I am.”

“He is a good match for you.”  Li’s kiss was tender.  “And we are happy to see the joy he brings you.”

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Group Love

Red Heart Anosanim  I really really really  Red Heart Anosanim Always will.  Cheesy

Poor Rini trying to make sure Remin has an amazing date and he gets foiled again.  I think that bit of conversation allowed Remin to lay his objectiveness aside.  But Remin still was not getting the right feelings about his date so thank the Gods that they were looking out for him.

Now Tano and the Bela's from the Princes Belam was that not the funnest of exchanges?

Quote
“You must be the new chef.”

His voice, what was that?  It sounded like honey drizzled over a prettily tanned and nicely rounded ass.

Now that one brought the best image to my mind. Adore

I liked the Director of the shelter.  He was able to help Remin and the ending felt very good after the debacle of the date.

I can't wait for the next chapter.  This is going to be so good.  Tano and Remin getting together for the Nosupolin food.  I can't wait for Bade and Orinakin to come home so Naritano has a real Nosupolin to try out his dishes.  Bade's going to adore Tano.

Xio Voe, Kudorin, and belas...HOT! Shocked Drool Bow Down Embarrassed Adore Mesmerized

Naritano feeding Remin...almost hotter! I loved Remin's reaction when he finally realized that Tano could cook Nosupolin dishes. And the sexual tension between them was sizzling.

Belas visiting Tano's kitchen...awesome! They were in silver and there were dukot and sulatim names there, so none of Kudorin's belas were around, but I loved Tano's reaction all the same. I wonder if Ilanosa has hinted to the belas on a subconscious level that they'll get to play with him eventually. That would be cool. I don't think the Remin can actually have sex with belas even after he's married, but Tano can. I wonder how they'll work that.

Remin's date...ugh! I knew he'd have a bad one eventually, but I didn't think it'd be so soon. Still, it's good that Remin handled it well. I can't wait until the rest of the Sibs hear about it. I wonder what kind of revenge they'll exact. Being princes, they can't be obvious, but you know they won't let that go unpunished. Rini and Anosanim strike me as the kind of men who could be discreetly evil if the situation called for it. Desin would just sic a wild animal on the guy, so that's out. Selorin has a conflict of interest and Talin's too direct, so it'll have to be Anosanim and/or Rini.

I feel bad for Mihina and Hasano, though. As soon as they hear about it, they'll be so mad at themselves. I hope Remin can help them through that. They're so good at their jobs and I'd hate to have their confidence permanently affected by this. Not everyone can spot a slick liar, but that doesn't mean they should start questioning their ability to select good dates for Remin.

Favorite part this chapter:

Quote
Sighing, Remin relaxed against Selorin more comfortably.  “I haven’t actually made a male friend in years.  Not outside of the priesthood and new brothers-in-law.  The idea of having a male friend has been unthinkable.  Not even something that I could consider.  But I miss men.  And now that I’m dating them, isn’t it feasible that I could make a friend of one, as well?  I mean, I don’t actually have to fuck men or avoid them entirely.  There’s some middle ground there.”

“I think that it’d be healthy for you.  Do you think that Naritano’s a good candidate?”

“In a completely self-serving fashion, yes.  I need his food, and if we’re friends, I’ll have more reason and opportunity to get him to cook for me.  The fact that he’s so fucking sexy is a severe complication.  But I do enjoy him.  I like his company.  And he seems to like me.  He’s a very devout man.”  Remin toyed with his rings.  “What’s most important, I think, is that I can trust him.  I trust him to respect my boundaries.  He’s honest, he’s well-meaning, he’s a good guy.”

“He is honest,” Selorin agreed.  He could vouch for that.  “I like him.  He seems bright.”

“Mmm.”  Remin sighed.  “Is it wrong that I’m more interested in what Naritano’s going to cook for me next, more than in tonight’s date?”

“I think that most people would have the opposite priorities.”

I loved that. And it makes me wonder when Remin will get a clue. How many chapters until sexual tension becomes romantic tension? How much will they both agonize over that? The potential angst is epic. I can't wait!  Evil

I agree CL, I so hope Mihina and Hasano will be able to live through that.  I think Selorin would be the one to call in once they narrow the date down to three candidates.  Then they can ask point blank if the date thinks there is any possibility they will approach Remin sexually tonight and have Selorin vet the most truthful candidate.

And yes, I love that Selorin and Remin had such a wonderful conversation.  That part and the part with Naritano and the Bela's made the chapter perfect.  Kudorin and Xio Voe's interactions were icing on the cake.  I have been missing the Bela's too now thery are back I realized I was missing them.

Yes, yes, the belas!!  They were awesome and amazing, all of them.  I love the way the were with XV and Kudorin, and I loved the way they acted with Tano.  Fun times ahead.

Now that I'm a little calmer, I'm pretty sure that Rini will find Remin's date and try to maim/disfigure/disembowel him, only to be prevented by the gods, unless Kudorin restrains him until the feeling passes.  And the gods may have something in store for him, let's hope.

As for Mihina and Hasano, it's not their fault.  How could they have known?   Pet Pet  They'll feel bad about it, I'm sure of it, but Remin certainly won't blame them.

I think Selorin will do a little something to... him.  And not a good something, either.  Come on, Matthew, you have to indulge us!

Anyone think that Remin should take refuge in Tano's kitchen?  I think so, I really do.  Or, better... Tano should send him every bit of delicacy he can rustle up.

I wonder what Xio Voe is going to do when he finds out.  That'll be interesting.

Yes please!  Indulge us Matthew  Adore

I think we will get to see Rini completely gut Remin's last date and then Desin allow for Norrisa to finish him off.  And if he is not dead by the time Selorin gets through with him, he will be dead professionally.  I do think Remin will make sure their are no lasting bad effects or self doubt for Mihina and Hasano.  And if Remin doesn't do it, Kudorin will, since he in effect hired them to do this job.

Remin is going to be living in the kitchen soon.  I do not imagine it will take long for Remin to be there every night for a snack and for him and Tano to be dissecting each date.  It may take Remin a bit longer, I am sure, to realize he is just going through the motions so he can get to Tano in his kitchen afterwards.  I think Xio Voe will be indulgent because with Ilanosa's blessing he will be seeing the cords between Tano and Remin strengthen each passing day.  Mind you if he gets a bad meal I ma sure he will say something to Tano.  I can see if that happens that Tano may want to stop staying up with Remin and feel very guilty.  It will be part of the angst Remin and him will go through.

Yes.  Hetamepalo had better hide.  I thik XV will have something to say about what's happened.  He cares about his brothers in law, and I know he's got the utmost respect for Remin, so he's going to do something.

Have we ever seen XV really mad?  Cause, I'm hoping we do in the next chapter.

Here's a surprise: Remin didn't get any warnings from the gods.  There's probably a reason for that, and I'm sure we're going to find out about it in the next chapter.  Sure, they were withdrawn, but I would have still hoped that they would have shouted out a warning or something.  You know, like, red flags, volcanic eruptions, or something subtle like that.

Yes, a volcanic eruption is subtle.

Be quiet, it's Remin.

*wonders idly what Orinakin and Bade will do when they find out what happened*

Bade will freak.  Orinakin... I don't know what he'll do.

Oooh, yes, Desin will indeed set Norisa out!!  Ha ha!  I can't wait!

I am sure they had a reason for being quiet.  I think it was because Remin is acting as a man during his dates and not a Priest, so he needs to learn to act as a man again.  Not very satisfying for us who want to rip off the guys dick. Looser

I think the gods were quiet because Remin is capable of handling life perfectly well on his own. Not everything Anorians think and feel comes from the gods, you know? Remin did feel that something was off with his date, but I'm positive that he felt it because he knows people and is incredibly intelligent and perceptive. Like Kudorin said, no matter how much he wants to protect his people from all the hurts life can cause, that's just not how the gods work.

I hope Mihina and Hasano don't feel the need to start checking with anyone before they select Remin's dates now. They're not perfect, but no one is, and not even the princes know everyone in the country. I think Remin will reassure and counsel them just fine to regain their confidence.

And now that I've been thinking more about how Remin's family will react, I've also been thinking of how Tano will react. Given how he was kind of outraged that men would line up to date the royal high priest, imagine how outraged he'll feel that one of his fellow citizens quite literally assaulted Remin. Oh, the comfort food he'll serve up!

I think the Gods were quiet because they need Remin to see the good and bad side of dating.  If he were warned then he might not have gone on the date.  I think if he only had good dates where he enjoyed himself and felt comfortable right the way through he might just want to date forever and then what about poor Tano.  I hope that makes sense, it made sense in my head  Thinking
Oh, I didnt think about XV hearing about the assault.  I think Remin is possibly his fave (after  Kudorin of course).  I wouldnt like to be that guy.  XV is pretty scary without being mad.

Mmmm. comfort food!  Can't wait to see it!  Is it Saturday yet?  I get my chapters on Saturdays.  And I'm actually going to France on Saturday, so I hope I get to read the chapter before I have to go to the airport!

True about the gods.  I suppose they would have intervened had he tried to physically hurt Remin, being as the Siblings are protected from that sort of thing.  But still.

*sics XV on him*
