Remin hadn’t wanted to leave his office.  His office was where Very Good Things came to him.  His office was where his happiness thrived.  His happiness was where everything seemed so right with the world.

But then he’d realized, somewhat fuzzily, that sometimes Very Good Things came while he was away.  So if left his office, and then went back in, Very Good Things might have arrived in his absence.
Cheesy  I love this.

I'm not quite finished reading yet (I'm absolutely LOVING this - welcome back, Tano!!!), but I came across a quote that thrilled me.

Quote
His voice was several octaves below the surface of the planet

Sounds simple, yes.  But I'll be damned if it didn't stir me!!  I may become a better writer thanks to that sentence alone!!!!

*runs back to the chapter*

So many things I  Red Heart

But what is this with Talin?  That was a pretty snarky comment he made.

Quote
Talin’s face reddened.  With anger, Xio Voe guessed, or something close to it.  “A year ago, you knew nothing of love.  You may be the world’s foremost expert on the mating habits of flies, but you don’t know about what real love puts people through.”

“A reactionary, overemotional, thoughtless remark.  I expected better of you.  And, as I dislike inaccuracies, I am not the world’s foremost expert on the mating habits of flies.  Entomologist Eckomoe Chelle is the most notable expert in the field.  His research has been extensive.  I believe that he is acquainted with both Prince Orinakin A Nimi and Prince Selorin A Diki.”

“You expected better of me.”  A bitter smirk, ruthless in its self-mockery.  “So did everyone else.  So did I.”

I think, coupled with the conversation Anosadim and Remin had last week we are developing a subplot that may feature some intervention on the Siblings part into Talin's emotional state.*  Pet Pet Talin*

Remin had two wonderful dates!  And thank goodness Naritano's talent is back! Cheesy  I  Red Love the breakfast scene with Xio Voe and the siblings.  Xio Voe almost smiled!!!!  Giggle

*moans*  *licks lips*  Nosupolin food sounds so good.  Yummy!

Very interesting conversation with Rini about the opening bit where Rini casts suspicion on Naritano coming in his sleep.  Go Remin!! Defend your husband to be. Smiley

I truly enjoy the glimpses into Kudorin and Xio Voe's alone time.  They just make me feel warm all over.

I think we are going to get our wish of midnight kitchen visits between Remin and Tano...

Quote
Naritano, cooking merrily.  It was a more welcome sight than any of the artwork Remin had seen all night.  He wanted to embrace Naritano, to thank him, to-

And what an astute observation on Naritano's part...

Quote
“You know that I must remain celibate outside of marriage.  Mine is a very passionate nature, and I struggle with this restriction.”

He’d never eat enough food to end that hunger.  But if it took the edge off, then Naritano couldn’t blame him.  In fact, if it alleviated his yearning, then Naritano wanted to help him all the more.

I also really like this thought too  Evil

Quote
Knowing of Prince Anoremin’s sexual needs, he wanted desperately to offer his services.  Surely, in the face of Prince Anoremin’s rigorous self-denial, one blowjob would be forgiven.  Couldn’t it just be construed as an act of kindness?

I think every date night should end in Naritano's kitchen Remin  Cool
