Yeah. Belas don't "go out" often, but when they do I'm sure there are several people (male and female surely) lusting after them... (Dunno about the posters though! Lol.  ) |

I think I just assumed the belas were gay because they seem very happy to be in belams that only serve men. But obviously, that wouldn't stop teen girls from drooling over them, too. I wasn't thinking err straight and I apologize.

I think the belas have lots of fans.  If you could go see more than 100 hot guys, scantily clad and draped all over each other, at the festivals every two weeks wouldn't you fan up? They're super hot, very sexual, and all about PDA, what's not to love?  I'd be in with a clump of fangirls following them around squealing every time they touched each other's arm or whispered in each other's ear. We'd know all their names and speculate on which pairs and threesomes we see together most often. We'd have a cataloged list of every confirmed sighting of Sibling/bela interaction. And at our weekly meetings we'd - - I think I'm giving way too much here.  So yeah. They'd have fans. I don't think them being gay matters. Lance Bass being gay hasn't dimmed my *Nsync love  for him one bit. I think the belas being gay, or at least interested in men, means fan boys will swoon and fan girls get tons of slashy moments with no evil girlfriends or women in general around fangirls to glare at. - Diamond |

I would imagine that the bisexual belas gravitate more to the bisexual belams, and the gay/lesbian belas gravitate to the gay/lesbian belams, and the straight belas gravitate to the straight belams. (There aren't any straight belams at the moment, but there have been.)

I think bi people can be satisfied ... well happily occupied, is probably better,
with one gender for' x' amount of time or years, and then with another.
I know discussing it with people in this world, that is what they tell me.
I don't think that factors in as much with the belas because settling down for a monogamous relationship is entirely different from being a sex worker. When you are in a monogamous relationship for years you are not committing to one gender as much as you are committing to one person. That person satisfies you until you break up and then you move on to another relationship. The gender of the next person is open for a bisexual person, instead of an assumed gender as it would be for a gay or straight person. But people who are in a monogamous relationship don't have sex with other people period. That's what monogamy is, not just the absence of sex with other people the same gender as your partner. It's no sex with anyone else, man, woman, or dog. It's unreasonable to think that bisexual people can't or don't want to be in a loving relationship with one person simply because they are attracted to both genders, so of course they can be in a relationship for years with one gender. Just like anyone else can. Belas are having sex for a living, not in a satisfying relationship with one person. So if you are a bisexual bela you would probably want to be in a situation where both genders are available. If you are gay or straight you wouldn't mind only having sex with one gender. But who knows. Some of the princes' belas might be mildly attracted to women, very attracted to men, and think that being a bela to the princes is more important to them than hooking up with the occasional chick. - Diamond |
