So kind of you to ask! I want to stay positive, so I'm gonna say it's going well. School was cancelled today (snow) so I can get some additional work done before meeting with my thesis advisor next week. The hardest thing is to juggle regular school work and this. For example, I have a Stats midterm tomorrow, so I had to work on that all weekend and didn't work much on the thesis... But I shouldn't complain too much because part of the problem is my own procrastination (didn't get anything done last semester ). But I work really well under pressure, so it should be okay. Anyways, this blasted thesis is the reason I'm not (or won't be) too active here anymore. But come April, no, come May when I graduate, I'll be able to hang out here some more, start the ITL reread project, work on the Wiki, read Raised by Wolves, and generally just breathe! Yeah, but until then... Thanks for asking!

I remember when my youngest sister was in her final semester of college. She went completely insane because she was handling a full courseload of classes, plus a 40 hour a week internship, and a 20 hour a week job. It'll probably be worse for my brother when he graduates from law school. So my prayers for your continued semi-sanity are with you, Falconer.

Oh, I remember the horror of finishing a thesis Falconer, can you tell us what your thesis is about? Liz, I love your Adam Lambert avatar. I'm rooting for him, too! Ana

Adam just blew me away from the original audition round and he's never disappointed. If you haven't already, look him up on YouTube - they've got several Adam videos on there, including performances from "Wicked" and "Ten Commandments".

I hate your thesis.
Me too! I'll still be here, of course. Even if you don't see me posting often I'm probably lurking! So my prayers for your continued semi-sanity are with you, Falconer.
Thanks! Oh, I remember the horror of finishing a thesis Falconer, can you tell us what your thesis is about? I'm studying Economics so it has to do with that... I won't bore you with too many details, but the part I'm working on now is about Mundell's theories about fixed and flexible exchange rates, symmetry and monetary union. I'm trying to figure out whether the European Monetary Union is an OCA (optimal currency area) or not... Thank you for all the kind words and encouragement!

Falconer, you lost me after your first sentence Your thesis looks hard! My husband's family in Spain was reeling because the value of commodity increases but their wages did not when their currency got turned into the Euro. But I find that it's great to travel to different European countries using the same currency and entry visa.

I'm tempted to title my thesis: The Return of the Keynes*. But I'm sure my advisor would object. Pity. Okay, back to work! *Big economic theorist. Father of the Keynesian school.
