1.  Single mother gave birth to octuplets despite already having 6 children.  All 14 kids conceived via in-vitro fertilization. Now lawmakers might make it more difficult for other women to conceive via IVF.

2.  Middle-aged men marrying 8 year old girls in Saudi Arabia. 

3.  Rihanna beaten by her boyfriend.  She later chose to reconcile with him.

These are just a few things that frustrates me while watching CNN this week. Any thoughts?

I'd like to know who paid for the invitro treatments.  I know those are extremely expensive.  My sister was considering that as one of her options.  But now she's decided to adopt.

Yes, the in-vitro fertilizations are very expensive.  Where I am, it usually cost about $5000.  I don't know who paid for Nadya, the octuplet's mom.  I'm still stuck on wondering how is she going to take care of 14 kids, all under the age of 8.  Sad Head Shake

I believe she's actually losing custody of them.  I've heard quite a bit about them being taken from her.

Well, she's not fit to take care of them.  The thing is, who's going to take care of the kids now?  It saddens me that ultimately, the kids will be the one who will suffer for this stupidity. Sad

They're probably going to be split up into seperate homes.  I just hope that whoever adopts them keeps in touch with the other parents.
