So, the "have you clicked today?" thread made me think... what's the most interesting job you've ever had?
As I mentioned, I worked for a porn company the summer after high school. I also worked as a tour guide at a historical monument that's notoriously haunted, and that was pretty interesting. What about you guys?

Why ITL fans should not speak on the phone:
Jae: I love Xio Voe. I want to nom him. Nom nom nom. Rhia: Don't chew on the Heir to the Jacacean Empire, dear. Jae: But I want to! Why must you kill my dreams?

First of all - can you tell us what monument and if you had any experiences? Sue and I would especially like to know about the experiences. My favorite job was working for Columbia House Music Club Customer Service. Some people seemed to think we were free sex lines, others treated us like bartenders and told us all their problems, and we had whackos who did stuff like start accounts for their pets or accuse us of putting ants and fleas in our packages. We got asked out on dates and even talked to a few famous people.

Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, and yeah, I had a couple spooky things happen -- nothing huge, but I'm happy to tell stories, if you like.
That's crazy! I always hear these stories about how wacko some of the people who call customer service lines are, but the ants and fleas thing is a new one.

Ohhhh Yes, please share stories!! I find that house absolutely fascinating. As for the ants and fleas - they wanted us to pay for an exterminator. I told them I didn't have a code for that.

That would be the best job ( for me anyway) to work in a haunted place. I like learning about the paranormal Ive been into it for years and do ghosthunts every chance i get.

I guess this isn't a really "interesting" job but I use to work at a Golf Course/ Campground...talk about meeting some "far out" people...lol Drinking and golfing leads to some interesting things (not me the customers) Weekend camping partiers... I even got approached twice by men in the restrooms trying to touch and kiss me... until I shoved them on there butts and told them never to come near me again or I would report them. Then they would beg for forgiveness because they didn't want to get into any trouble.

Coolest job... well, as I'm still on my first one, lmao, I guess I'll say that it was working for Rotary!!
Even with the economic crisis, we're 5% up on contributions than we were on last year, and that's not counting the HUGE sum we got from the BIll and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The only problem is that the crisis forced us to cut our humanitarian budget by $18 million, so we don't have as many projects going on as usual. My guess is that we're down by about 1,000 projects, but what can we do... we have to have a budget for next year and the one after, don't we?
I also babysat, which was cool, except for the first ten minutes when the babies screamed for their mothers. Always hard.

History wasn’t a series of individual events, but a rich story where each plot affected the others.
