Talin and Anosanim.     It's so painful to read.  I love Talin but I agree with  and  .  Talin is not handling this right.

This update was so so good!  And just what I needed this morning.

Xio Voe and Kudorin were lovely in this update. They are so sweet with each other. As well as hot. sexy. beautiful. But this chapter struck me as sweet.

Orinakin = Amazing. The amount he has to put up with and think about is reall really amazing. Bade and Vade's identical reaction to Talin's hair was hilarious. Selorin. Well, we had a lot of Selorin this week -- so that was exciting!  Selorin sidelining up to Bade at dinner though and whispering in his ear - so hot, for really no good reason (other then it is of course - THEM), but it was so so hot.

Remin is fantastic as per usual. love love and more love.

Boys Boys Boys -- omgosh please don't do this to yourselves. Please. It's painful to watch. Poor Anosnaim, I agree with Orinakin and Remin, I can't believe Talin would do this to him.

Looking crisp and cold, Xio Voe sat firmly on the throne.  Looking relaxed and welcoming, Kudorin sprawled negligently where the queen usually sat, eating an apple.

Liz and I were talking about Xio Voe's argument with Kudorin about Orinakin seeing Xio Voe in a 'compromising position'.

Personally, I think that Xio Voe needs to stop thinking like the Heir all the time because he's with the most sexual being that ever lived and he's going to marry him.  He also happens to be living in a country where the people are more open about sex than I would have ever thought possible (or maybe not, but you know what I mean).  Liz, on the other hand, brought up a valid point, just saying that she was on Xio Voe's side on that one.

So, really, I agree with both of them.  I understand why Xio Voe wouldn't want to be caught by Orinakin (even though this is Orinakin we're talking about... he and Bade had sex in a balloon where privacy is really nowhere to be found - not that kind of privacy.  Meaning to say that he's not going to be shocked or think any less of Xio Voe.  But I get it.  Being caught in bed with someone can be a little, uh... I dunno cause it's never happened to me, but I know I disliked being caught doing my own thing.  I suppose Xio Voe thinks it'll damage his credibility, integrity, and whatever else.

The fact that Kudorin understands and manages to turn the situation into something comical is great and awesome. 

This post doesn't make sense anymore, so I'm going to stop here before I ramble off the deep end.

Xio Voe's a prude!  Although, compared to Anorians, I would imagine anybody would seem prudish. As Kudorin pointed out though, Jacaceans are at the end of the spectrum for this.

I love that we're getting to know Desin better! “Did he want me, or just my dick?  Did he want sex, or just some spiritual experience?  Was I taking advantage of him?  Was he taking advantage of me?” Concerned about Ehlee and about himself as well. Sex is obviously not just sex for him... otherwise he wouldn't care about Ehlee taking advantage of him when the physical experience was fulfilling. We're still not close to figuring out how Desin's story would shape up!

Having a man experience "what it is to be a woman" is an interesting idea... (even though it's only about the sexual dimension of it).  The title of the series is In This Land, but it's about much more than Orina Anoris! I love how we're experiencing different cultures' views on things. Very interesting...
