How do I get a picture to show, my icon? You go to "Profile" at the menu across the top. Then you go to "Forum Profile Information" in the menu along the left-hand side. Then you can choose one, upload one, etc. Good? -Matthew

Here's a screenshot of my Profile page: http://i43.tinypic.com/dgjltj.pngHere's how it's supposed to be (from the Help page): http://i40.tinypic.com/f54kk5.pngThe "Current theme" option doesn't show up on my page. I dunno what's going on...

As of yesterday morning, I was able to change the layout of the forum, but now it went back to the purple layout, and I can't find the link to change it again... That was my fault. I turned that setting off yesterday. I designed the layout for the message board and the gallery to look as much like the main site as the code would allow. With the ITL page, the wiki, the gallery and the message board all having different designs and different colors, I thought it would interrupt the continuity of the site too much. I tried to get the wiki to look like the site, or like the ITL page. That damn database fought me tooth and nail. I tried everything in the book to wrestle it into submission, but in the end, it won. So, sorry about the theme, but with so many additions to the site I didn't want the main site to start to feel like a portal. It's all one website on one server, but the different scripts with different themes make things like like separate sites linked to each other. Now, I'm getting too technical for no reason. Basically I'm trying to keep a branded look to everything whenever possible. -Diamond <- Who's done rambling.

Oh, it's quite alright then! I thought I wasn't doing something right or that my account had some kind of problem. The purple layout is fine. It looks like it has been a lot of hard work for you lately... On behalf of everybody, thank you!

By the way, the layout of the board looks fine in both Firefox and Safari, but not on Internet explorer (I can't see the little purple squares on the left and the forum is not aligned with the "Mattboard" header). It works fine though.

I think you have to know the image's URL. When you compose a post, the second button on the second row is for images. Stick the URL to the picture between the image tags, and you'll be good to go.
I think.

Or if it's on your computer (or if you don't have the url, but then you need to save it on your computer first), you need to host it on a website like imageshack.us, tinypic.com or imagevenue.com. It will give you a link which you can use with Matthew's method.

Let's see if this works...
Okay, if you have it on your computer, you can add it to your post by clicking "Additional Options..." when you are writing your post.
You can add the picture as an attachment, like in email.

How do I hide a pic under a link? Or should I just start a new topic so I get to put a warning?

I think if you put it inside the following (without spaces, of course), it should work: [ url ] [ / url ] I believe that it is only when you put an image link inside [ img ][ / img ] that it will show up as an image within your post. - Jae
