How in the world do you get to be 38 years old and not have any clue at all as to how to change a diaper or make a bottle?  My sister's friend just gave birth to her first child and when the nurse tried to give him to her to change his diaper and feed him a bottle, she had absolutely no idea how to do either of these things.  I knew this woman was an airhead, but don't you think that if you had somehow managed to make it to that age and not know the basics, that you would take the classes that the hospital offers sometime during your pregnancy???  I have the sneaking suspicion that she's going to dump that baby off on us like she's done with her grandmother.  Thank you very much for letting me rant.

I'm telling you, call CFS if you see that she's not taking care of that baby.  Or if she *is* going to dump the baby on you... $8 an hour.  That was my rate when I was babysitting, and it climbed if the child was really difficult.  Besides, you have to help me babysit Jaxon when he's born Smiley  Banshee's already said okay lol.

Okay, wait.

Are you actually going to have to rear someone else's child?

To age 18?

There is a very good chance that either my sister or I will be spending much more time with little Matthew (yes, another Matthew lol) than his so-called parents.  Kris has never shown any inclination to acquire new skills or knowledge beyond what she absolutely has to, or do anything productive at all really.  We are talking about a woman who attempted to get her 80 year old grandmother who can barely walk to come and shovel out her driveway.
