So this friend of mine (whom I'm not close to at all) found my MySpace page and discovered that I'm bisexual. She just happens to work as a CNA at the rehab center where my mother is currently residing as she recovers from knee surgery. So of course she just HAS to say something to my mother, who didn't know I was bi. After my youngest sister came out to her, I didn't want to cause her that kind of pain again. I found out about this mess today, in the hospital where we were waiting to see just how much of dad's toe and foot they were going to amputate. Isn't that a lovely coming out story? If anybody out there would care to share their coming out stories, I'd appreciate it.

Mom is doing fine, recovering much faster than expected. Dad is having some trouble since the stupid surgeon decided ot pu a cast on his foot. You are NOT supposed to do that with a diabetic.

Did the surgeon knew your dad's diabetic? Because, yes, that's a stupid thing to do to a diabetic.
How did your mom take the news, if you don't mind my asking?

We had a visit from Dad's home nurse today and she's very upset. Seems the last time this surgeon did this, when the cast came off they had a "huge ugly mess" to deal with.

Meanwhile, she's outted me to four women we went to school with. One's response was DUH, because she's known it for years. I told her myself after she explained to me a tattoo she has for a late girlfriend. Two of them immediately contacted me but had basically suspected anyway. I doubt the fourth one will ever talk to me again. Oh well.
