...Wow, no topic yet? Really?
I just got internets back and well, basically, I feel like Talin right now.

I found this chapter very beautiful. There were certain passages, certain sentences, that felt very much like poetry to me, that captured sadness and the experience of going through something terrible that struck a deep cord. Like this one: "He felt eerily self-contained. At the same time, he felt like the only thing keeping him together was the sound of Anosanim’s breathing, the color of Anosanim’s hair."
I enjoyed Desin coming in the room to talk to Kudorin while Xio Voe was there. It was like when Talin did the same thing last chapter. He's becoming more and more a part of their lives. It's nice to see it.
Also, I love that Xio Voe is already experiencing the blessings of Ilanosa, not knowing why he knows something, but still so sure. I'll be happy to see his insights when it comes to love later on, when he's more comfortable with them, when he's been fully, formally blessed. It'll probably be very amusing, since it's Xio Voe basically knowing about people's love lives and not knowing how the heck he could know those things with nothing except intuition and the gods giving him knowledge.
I'm so glad Talin has Anosanim with him. I don't think I've ever been so glad of that before.

I'm not quite sure what to say, I'm still just so devestated by this. I am very glad that Talin has Anosanim and that he didn't get mad at Rini. I would really like to hear what Xio Voe thinks of Ritek. And I herebye declare that any potential mate of the siblings be subjected to the Heir's scrutiny.

I'm with you, Liz. I still can't really wrap my head around it. But Ilanosa has spoken thru Xio Voe: Talin and Hitari was never meant to be. And Hitari will really spend the rest of his life in jail.

Yeah, Sue's gonna get hit over the head with this when she gets back from camping tomorrow. She won't read the chapter until then.

A newbie here I am a great fan of Hitari and Talin.Despite everything, I was really really hoping them together....maybe cause I can relate to Hitari and his hardship.....maybe I had too much invested interest in this couple....and now it's gonna be hard for me to continue reading ....

.and now it's gonna be hard for me to continue reading .... Well, at least you can take heart in the fact that we're in the Rainbow Book so you can focus on the K&XV scenes to get you through. (I'll be doing that, at any rate.) - Jae

I imagine that Hitari will find lots of boyfriends in prison. (And yes, I am angry with him. He hurt my Prince Nisutalin AGAIN.)

Anoha Ilanosa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Xio Voe’s eyebrows drew together a fraction of an inch. “I don’t know. I don’t recall what made me question their future together.” Frustration began to simmer beneath his cool calm.
“Tell me what you’re thinking,” Kudorin urged, wanting to share this experience with him.
“It’s not like me to make unfounded assumptions about other people’s relationships. Yet I can’t remember what made me dismiss any notion of their future together. It seemed so apparent, I was surprised that the rest of you accepted the idea of their potential engagement. My memory rarely fails me, but I don’t remember this.” He was perplexed, frustration edging his tone and crackling against Kudorin’s skin.
Anoha Ilanosa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He feels Ilanosa with him!!!!!!!! *dances* *goes back to sobbing for Talin*

History wasn’t a series of individual events, but a rich story where each plot affected the others.
