If you're a new reader and aren't all the way through ITL just yet, but you still want to jump in and converse with us, please feel free to start threads about what you have read.  It's fun for us to revisit earlier parts, and I would enjoy an excuse to explore (for example) Bade's romance again.

I have read this entire series no less than 25 times, probably more.  And yes - I do literally have parts of it memorized.  But it just gets better every time I read it.

For the record, Jae is uncanny. I would make an oblique comment -- something like, "Oh, I love Anikira" -- and she would guess what chapter I was on.

I'm caught up now.  Cheesy

Why ITL fans should not speak on the phone:

Jae: I love Xio Voe. I want to nom him. Nom nom nom.
Rhia: Don't chew on the Heir to the Jacacean Empire, dear.
Jae: But I want to! Why must you kill my dreams?

Whenever Iaroo (SilverMoon to you) gets behind and I'm going crazy over some part that she hasn't read yet, I have to make up stuff like "The Snuffleupagusus just stampeded!"

Thank you!  I like that, uncanny!  Cheesy

I'm trying to copy-and-paste my encyclopedic knowledge to the Wiki, but we'll see how long that takes.  It's all done during Wiki-thons, where I kind of stop for a while then boom!  ::shrug::

I seem to recall you being at least five chapters behind once.

I've only been that far behind once.  Other times, I was three chapters behind because I was on holiday with limited computer access.

I may take you up on that Matthew & friends

I always enjoy when a poster discovers a story I love and then posts their comments as they go.  I love seeing the story through new eyes and reliving the joy of my first read.

It seems only fitting that I pay that experience forward for the veterans here.  Nod

Welcome to our Insanity, Mountie!!  I'm Liz, one of the Mods.  If you need me, I'll be over in the corner - playing with Talin's paints.

Something tells me that Selorin's ears would be itching at that.  Giggle Wink

He would be except that he's a little too occupied with Ritek and a couple of belas.

Or making sure that Talin's pants had more prettiness to them.  You know that if he could, Anosanim would rearrange Talin's entire wardrobe.

Anyway, welcome to the new members!

And I suppose that he needed my copy of The Purple Book to do that?  *stalks over to Berlin and grabs it back*

Seriously, I can't find it!  *wail*
