I believe that that Off the Record would make a great movie.  Its got a fantastic plot, one that would keep people riveted to the screen.  I'd like to see either Jake Gyllenhaal or Orlando Bloom play the part of Jordan, and somehow I see Susan Lucci as his mother.  I'm not sure about Patrick though.  I want to say Nick Carter, but I don't know if he's up to such a complicated role.

Introducting Ryan Seacrest as Patrick...

As for Jordan, neither guy will do.  Jake is too short and Orlando makes the prettiest girl.  Think tall, dark, handsome and a little shy with a stronger personality.  Susan Lucci is totally the best person for the mother.  Great call, girl!

Isn't Jake Gyllenhaal like 6'4"?  What kind of giant are you that you think that's short?

After I read Off the Record I began to draw a lot of  Patrick and Ryan Seacrest parallels to, but Patrick is way cooler than Seacrest.  Oh Jake! He's so sweet I adore him, but you are right to cross Jake off the list. Even though he is 6 feet, he has poor posture and it make him seem shorter than he actually is, and as we all know Jacqueline is a stickler for posture.
How about Christopher Gorham (Henry from Ugly Betty) or Brandon Routh ( Clark Kent in Superman Returns)  for Jordon?  Chris is only 6 feet  but he has excellent posture, so he seems taller but  Brandon is 6'3 and has dark brown eyes.

How about Jared Padalecki?  Naw, he'd be better in the swimmer story.  Nevermind.  lol

I would kill anyone who casts ryan seacrest for that role. He deserves to be shot anyway.
