Anosanim and Talin.

In our big Anosanim/Hitari/Talin thread, we had some varying views on Anosanim and Talin's relationship.  How do you see them, and what do you think of their relationship?

I can talk about Desin without talking about Remin.  I can even talk about Selorin without talking about Orinakin.  But it's hard to talk about Talin without talking about Anosanim.  How intertwined are Anosanim and Talin's lives, in your view?

If Anosanim is involved with Ritek, will that give him more of a life outside of Talin, and (how) will that change their relationship?

Your assignment: talk about Anosanim and Talin.  Go!

For this - I think I'm going to use your own words.  Orinakin and Selorin are seperate people who just tend to do a lot of the same things at the same time.  Anosanim and Talin are two halves of a very unique whole.  If Anosanim dropped a carriage frame on his foot - I believe that Talin would feel it.  I was actually re-reading the part today about Talin inviting Ritek to stay with them at Satatunin and I remembered what you had written about the twins' childhood - how Talin would build things for Anosanim to decorate when the future Royal Architect got into trouble, and how Anosanim would cry when Talin's diaper needed changing.  It hit me that, out of all the people in the world, no one would know better what Anosanim needed than Talin - which is why I'm gonna trust him that Ritek is good for Anosanim.

I like the idea that I should get invested in Anosanim/Ritek because Talin thinks Anosanim should be with him. If Talin approves and encourages it, then he must think it would be good for his brother. Talin isn't the kind of person who would havegone through so much trouble just to hook Anosanim up with anyone walking by. He must think they are a good match and that Anosanim will get something out of it.

I can't wait to see how their relationship develops.

I have to agree that Talin wouldn't bother if he didn't think that he were helping Anosanim.  It wouldn't be worth his time or energy.

Anosanim, on the other hand, would be the first one to jump in and interfere.

Yeah, I would consider 123 a typical depiction of how I view the Anosanim and Talin.

I didn't see Anosanim's behavior as interfering in 123.

That's an easy one MHT...Where Orinakin and Selorin, and Bade and Vade are identical twins.
Talin and Anosanim are MIRROR Twins... in a sense they really are two halves of a whole. Needing the
other to be whole. In their case, I would think Talin's making Anosanim see that Ritek is the man
for him should be good for the four of them. I find it remarkable that Hitari does so well with Anosanim, but then
I am sure he can feel how he is an 'extension' of Talin.

This happens here too. I have a pair of friends who are Mirrors, and being hunks and gay they remind
me so much of all yours guys, or vice versa.  One is left handed, one right, one firey & flighty, and
brave, the other calm, creative and long-suffering.. Well they both are that, being twins in same
business etc.
