*comes back to Chapter 4*
I love these early chapters, getting to know the characters all over again and to take the ride with Bade into the life of an Anorian Price, more specifially into Orinakin's life. I am watching the Princes more closely this go round but I am still, and probably always will be, just as enchanted with Bade as his future husband is.

Here we are introduced into Rini's dilemma of what his role will be as he grows up. I have enjoyed this part of Rini's journey, his self discovery and it is nice to have selorin introduce it to us through his conversation with Orinakin.
“But two nights later, he’ll crawl into my bed to ask me how many days until Anosadum comes home, or how many days until you come home, or what I think the gods created him for and what’s going to happen if he never finds his purpose, and I’ll realize that finding one’s own destiny isn’t as freeing as it sounds. All of that freedom can be a burden.”
We also get more of a glimpse into Vade and how close he and Bade are. i love the story of the gift of the compass to bade from Vade.
“It will bring you home,” Vade said, his cheeks turning pink the way they did when he was very determinedly not crying. “It will bring you back to me.”
I wanted to

too.
And we get to see the differences in the cultures with breakfast. I can't wait to re-read the skirt challenge when I get to it.
