I continue to be completely impressed with the way I am learning all about Orina Anoris through Bade learning through his education. I am also completely impressed about how much I learn about the brothers from their spending time with Bade and answering his questions. We certainly see Selorin's devilness come through loud and clear when he takes Bade to meet the Bela's and hence Bades predicament at the end of the chapter.

I was chuckling but also sympathetic to both points of view when this discussion with Jekari took place.
“Both of them are topics that polite people in polite society do not discuss. Sex is very private,” he insisted. “It’s a very special thing between two people.”
“Yes, it is, and it’s even more special between five,” Jekari said.
And then Bades amazement at couples having to be blessed to have a baby and I was just as astonded as Bade. Anorian gods are so present in the lives of Anorians. I am not a religious person but I wouldn't mind practicing this one.

I love how Kudorin provides what is needed exactly to replenish each of his brothers souls. How he grounds and rejuvinates Orinakins here and how he calmed Rini earlier in the story.
I really fell in love with Kudorin here

“May I have my amethyst?” Orinakin asked.
He smiled. “No.”
With an indulgent sigh, Orinakin wrapped an arm around his waist, walking him back into his suite. “Someday, we’re going to tell the people what a thief you are.”
“I’ve made no attempt to hide my behavior.” Kudorin tended not to accept gifts; he preferred to distribute them among others. All of the jewelry he wore, he’d pieced together or had made after pilfering the various stones from his brothers. He was neither secretive nor apologetic. His brothers were his rainbow.
