“Soon,” Desin agreed.  “Now get your ass off of the table so that Bade can eat.”

            Giving Bade an intimate smile, Rini wiggled down from the table.  “Bye,” he said, with a wink at T’rin, and left.

            T’rin licked his teeth.  “Were it not for my infinite respect for the pharaoh, your brother would be difficult to resist.  He is well-made and easily bedded.”

            “I think that the gods use him to test Kudorin’s suitors,” Desin said.

            “Has anyone ever failed that test?” Bade asked.

            “Yes,” Remin said.

            T’rin didn’t look surprised.  “Too many men are easily swayed by the temptations of the moment.  Only a true man of worth and honor can sacrifice immediate pleasure for a higher goal.”

            Bade had spent a lifetime only rarely having sex.  Now that he had actual belas at his disposal, an unimaginable luxury, he wasn’t about to jeopardize his future with Kudorin by making a pass at Kudorin’s brother.  He’d have to be mad.

My heart melted when Kudorin came to be Rini's older brother and his god, dispensing wisdom, love, rulings and healings all at the same time. 

I just had a stupid grin on my face too when bade was remembering his night with Pelir, opening his eyes to find Kudorin sitting on his bed.  Bade gets so easily shocked.    "Was that the way the King of Orina Anoris act?"  and exposing more chest as he went towards T'rin and Kudorin.

Chapter 10 was a delight.
