Oh that's a good one blondiechic0. It shows us definatively that yes Anosanim, although a talented artist, is truly the Royal Architect / Engineer.

* Awwwww... Orinakin is finally starting to explore the possibility that he has feelings for Bade.

And bless Selorin for bringing it up.
“Tell me why you’re acting the way you acted when you were thirteen and you had a crush on Remin’s boyfriend.”
“He wasn’t Remin’s boyfriend.” Sitting beside Selorin, Orinakin sighed. “I take too much for granted. I travel the world, I see how other people live, I see how many simple needs aren’t fulfilled, and I come home to this and sometimes I don’t even notice the discrepancy. How can I claim to make efforts to improve lives, when I practically have a different attendant for each fingernail?”
“You’ve been talking to Bade again,” Selorin said, looking at him.
It is a little beginning but a beginning none the less.

I was entranced by Kudorins description of how he raises the sun. It is a perfect description that came back to me when he stated to share that experience with his future King later in the story. How profound that must be when he does that twice a day. I also was pleased when he helped Bade open himself to the areas of his personality of a sensual passionate nature.
Don't you just love this line and the exchange that happened around it? T'rin

With a soft sigh, Rini rested his chin on Desin’s shoulder. “He can conquer my village as often as he wants.”
And once again I keep learning about Anorian culture and the Seven Siblings with Bade touring with one of the brothers. The insights/foreshadowing about Orinakin that Anosanim provided during lunch set up the romance and the initial holding back on Orinakins part perfectly.
