In arguing eight reasons for why I should install a message board, Falconer said:

Quote
5- People can post Fan Art!

I showed Falconer's list to someone, and she said:

Quote
...I now want to post fan-art

Who am I to deny that?

Old school readers know how banner-greedy I am, and you can't expect me to be any different on a different site.  Fan art = awesome.

I'll have a gallery up soon, to display what I've been given so far.  And I encourage you to post ITL fan art here.

Working for me, after all, is what brought Diamond to the state of greatness she enjoys today.

Grin That's actually true. I figured out a lot about graphics while making banners for Matthew.

Speaking of fan art... Just saw Jet's picture of Selorin and Orinakin and it makes me both happy and sad that they are not in the flesh and bi/ straight because I am female and thats not what they are into.  Shows that it is a really good picture tho.  However its good for the story..gives it a nice visual to go with what matthew has written... love the way matthew writes...

Banners, banners... I'll refrain from commenting lol.  Matthew, and anyone else who's been with me as I read all of the stories on Sweet Uncleanness, might remember that I'm obsessed with making banners.

And I want my Photoshop back!!!!  *sob*

And ever since I started reading ITL, I've wanted to learn how to draw so that I could try to draw the Seven Siblings (Liz pointed out to me that there was no way I would ever be allowed to draw Kudorin) and maybe try to draw Xio Voe, not to mention Bade and Vade.

So far, all I did was play with an online character-maker.  But there weren't nearly enough options so... who knows.

Thank you!

Everyone has a different stance on this.  Some people are vehemently opposed to seeing any depictions of the Seven Siblings, because it interferes with the image in their heads.  Some people like to see depictions because it gives them something to visualize.

I like that the fan art gallery gives people a chance to take a look if they're interested, but they can avoid it if they don't want the extra visuals.

I actually just downloaded a trial version of Paint Shop Pro... after about 6 hours of going insane with it, I came up with a new ITL banner... ha.  I kept thinking that it would have only taken me 30 minutes with Photoshop, lol.

Anyway, I'm waiting on Liz to okay it (because she's my banner guinea pig  Wink) then, Matthew, if you want, I'll send it or post it somewhere.

Then again, I know Diamond's stuff is 20 times better than mine :p

How did I not catch this earlier and thank you for it?  What am I doing with my life?!

Thank you!  With your permission, I shall add it to the fan art gallery.

Would you like to be credited as dameange?

Hey Matthew!  Glad you like it and I'd love to be included in the fanart gallery.  Lady Angel or Dameange is perfectly fine.  LA

That's really very pretty!  I especially like the colours. The way you played with the different shades of blue and purple is so awesome.  You managed to inject Orinakin into the picture.  The colours, combined with the images and the letters adds an Asian feel to it.  Great job!
