I think it's the couple of dialogues in this chapter pertaining to mpreg.

This just made me laugh:

“But I know that you don’t want me to give you pretty bouquets and romantic poems and sweet kisses.  You want rare specimens and ancient documents and the inside of my liver.”

This is such a happy chapter.  I love that the siblings are all back together again.  How I missed Anosanim and Talin!  I can't even be sad that T'rin is going back to the Plains since he's going to unite the tribes and make the lives of his people more peaceful.

 “Relief and regret?” Selorin asked, sitting beside him comfortably.

            Smiling, Orinakin slid an arm around Selorin’s waist.  “How do you always know me so well?”

            “I’ll assume that’s a rhetorical question.”  Selorin studied him with solemn eyes.  “Now, this is purely sacrificial on my part.  I want you to know that I say this entirely for your sake.  But it looks as though someone,” Selorin gestured silently, “has overworked you very badly.  It’s about time you had another vacation.  Now, I can clear my schedule, if I need to join you.  If you think that you’d relax more effectively if I were with you.”

            “Well,” Orinakin said, drawing the word out, considering Selorin’s offer.  “I don’t want to take you away from your important work.  I’m sure that Bade and I will be just fine without you.”

            “No,” Selorin said grandly, “I insist.  I’m willing to spend a few days away from the courthouse if that’s what you need for emotional wellness.  And you’re in severe danger of underplaying how affected you are by all of this.”

I have almost finished my third re-read of ITL and am currently HERE in 169.   Mind you I think this may be the 5th time I have read this chapter because (using Anosanims favorite words) I adore it!

I completely 100% agree with Rini it would certainly make things so much easier In This Land...

LOL I think that I would go through and almost quote word for word what Vani quoted so I will just add my comments from now on and say: Please refer to Vani's quotes.

I loved Kudorin teasing Xoe Voe about him being able to leave now that his work was complete and pointing out that he was giddy with happiness.  I love how Xoe Voe is starting to be capable of knowing his emotions, the little ones, irritation, happiness etc.  We are starting to see the Xoe Voe that Princess Xoe Wei dreamed about in her vision.   I could quote that whole exchange I was smiling so broadly through it all.   I have always loved, loved, loved banter and to see Xoe Voe participate in it is so fun and normal.  I think I am as amazed as Kudorin is as to how far our beloved Heir has progressed.

I think that Remin was so accurate in the previous chapter when he said that in the first year of Kudorin's marriage he will be having random acts of sex on his throne.  I forsee that with all the time that Kudorin will stop time so that he and Xoe Voe can have sex, it will take them 2 years to live 1.  Cause...

Maybe once Kudorin has had his 5 children with Xoe Voe he may gift T'rin and Rini with one of their own.    I would read an mpreg written by Matthew with these characters wihout any hesitation.  I would fit into the story well.

The whole conversation Kudorin and Xoe Voe have about what would make Kudorin happy was so important, the points about being close to Kudorin's brothers, about caling Kudorin "Kudorin", how happy Xoe Voe is but how that happiness is only shown through the glint in Xoe Voe's eyes all just kept me entralled.  To have them remember their blessings on the day of their births.   I will admitt to being a melted puddle through the whole conversation.

I am sooo with Susanne on the subject of Anosanim.  His reaction when Remin announced Kudorina and Xoe Voe were engaged.

I am so happy for them all.  To have all the work and worry and frustration for them all be almost over.  To have journied with them all from when Orinakin first met Xoe Voe to here where they are all together congratulating  and Xoe Voe on thier engagement had been an absolutely amazing ride.  I can't wait for the wedding, their first touch and the life that they will have together. 

I have enjoyed getting to know all the siblings better and to have T'rin still in the story, to have met Ehlee and to see the brief insights into the fact that Remin's man will appear and that Talin will have a wedding day when Kudorin will paint everything red.

True, it took a while.  I'm sure that XV will end up calling him anything Kudorin wants as soon as he's able to touch him.  I can't wait to see that!!  They're engaged!!!
