It's something that Bade says in reference to this, from ITL 7.5:

That wasn’t possible.  That wasn’t - - Bade sat back, startled, as his water began to bubble.  Bubbling, it was bubbling, it was right there in his goblet and it was bubbling.  He cast a quick glance at Kudorin, who still appeared perfectly calm, then bravely picked up his goblet for a closer inspection.  With another wary look at Kudorin, he dipped his finger into the water.  It wasn’t boiling, wasn’t even warm, was simply bubbling.  And, as he removed his finger, it stopped.

lol  Bade was soooo excited the next day when he was telling Orinakin.  I think that's at the point where Bade started practicing two religions.
