This is the story that really got me into Matthew's writing.  Who else loves it? Cool

Oh Gosh... I'm so behind on Sucker, it's not even funny.  I think I stopped reading it because I ran out of pictures to use in my banners, so I got frustrated!  I need to take some time and start reading all of it again.

The story that got me hooked to Matthew, though is...

LIVING!  Dancing Dancing

Okay, that is a brand-new reason I've never imagined.  You have to get credit for that!

*raises hand* I love it!

When M and I were living together and there was an update - we used to wait to read it together so we could yell back and forth about what we were reading!

Now we just call as soon as we see it and force the other to read it so we can talk about it.

Sucker is... so so so so so so good. And there are SO many questions still left. I know M is specifically waiting for another "Sonic Boom" performance!  Tongue  O gosh, She's gonna kill me.  Scared

Love Love and Peace  :)v M! Love and Peace!

Man, I totally LOVE Sucker!!! I enjoy how NSYNC are so clueless as to how BSB are messing with them again.  They acted like they were totally were gonna be fine and the new "partners" weren't going to mess with them.  Yeah, right!! Laughing  I can't wait for new chapters Smiley

Again... I have to read Sucker again!! lol.  Last time I read, I think they were headed to Vegas... and I keep hoping that Chris and Brian will be okay... or rather that Brian will be okay... who knows, now.

Just... gimme some time, I have a lot of stuff to read right now.  I have to finish the ITL short stories first.

Tara and I aren't roommates anymore cuz we're both out of college.  It's sad - believe me, we know!! Sad

But no worries!  By the end of the year we should be roommies once again!  It'll be awesome!!! Dancey

You are also incredibly awesome, Matthew.  Tara called me as soon as she saw your response to her so that I would make sure to see this thread.  So. Awesome. Smiley

And yes!  Sucker is so great!  And the truth is I cannot wait for more Sonice Boom action.  It's sooooo hot!  *faints*

~McCartny~

P.S.  I totally risked screwing up my freshly painted nails to post - that's how much love I have for you.  Smiley

I reread Sucker all the time, and there are so many little strands in the story-line that I'm excited to see continuing.  Although sometimes I maybe let my imagination run away with me.  For example,  I've been waiting to find out about Nick's cologne gift to JC: I'm convinced that Nick had it specially made from his own Pheromones, so when JC smells it on Ashley, that'll be fun.

I also love how twisted everyone is in this story: and I like to pretend that everything in it is cannon - JC and his piercing, Brian's sick mind etc. Evil

Oh, sorry.  I should post on-topic, probably.

Thank you all for your "Sucker" comments.  I am all about the world of "Sucker" and heavily invested in the relationships and privately obsessed with, you know, everything about it.

And it puts this burning kind of pain in my head every time I think about all of the stuff that hasn't been revealed yet.  I have to finish "Sucker" someday because I can't just let all of the secrets go unexposed.

For me to continue to read a story, I must have some sort of reaction.  "Sucker" has easily given me two memorable reactions.  The first was Nsync's tattoos.  I remember writing down the letters and trying to figure out what they were....and when I did, I screamed out loud then im'd my best friend saying "Matthew is a GOD! Cool  The next, memorable reaction occurred when Nsync and the Boys were observing O-town leaving the club.  Brian reached out and stroked Jacob on the monitor. And of course, as I'm writing this, I can't remember Brian's words, but I remember this chill going down my spine.  I swear, I think it was the creepiest thing I ever read. Shocked  So, Matthew, I'm looking forward to more of these reactions.

*has just realized that some of her early 'Sucker' banners.... sucked...*

Why didn't you guys tell me that some of them were cringe-worthy?!?!??!?!

I feel remakes coming on...

And... reading this again... I'm wondering how in the world they could have even begun to think about doing to O-Town what had been done to them... makes my skin crawl...

That's it!  That's the line I couldn't remember.  Two seemingly innocent words became downright creepy when Brian said them.

I'm sure Chris agrees with you that Brian is a nice guy.  We all see how well adjusted he is once he's been in a relationship with Brian. Sad Head Shake

I keep forgetting just how screwed up Chris gets every time Brian does so much as enter his peripheral vision.  Hell, Chris doesn't even have to see him... if he knows that Brian is in the same general areas, he loses most of his higher brain functions.  Awe.  Which I guess is the same way Justin feels about Kevin.  Except that Justin gets to screw Kevin... or rather... Justin gets to be screwed by Kevin.

Eee!!  Trevor's meeting Kevin!!  Fan-crush!!!

Wha... my mind just flashed to... October 14th 2007.

And that made me squeal.  See why it's not good for me to read stuff like this?

IT MAKES ME MISS MY BOYS!!!!!!!

Sigh

Sucker is seriously making me feel creepy. I just finished Living, so decided to dive into this and.........yeah. Totally different. I'm on Chapter 6 and I just dont know.  The writing is fantastic, but my god, these people are just not nice, lol. I mean, at this point I dont think I like ANY of them. Maybe Chris? Very different from the boys in Living. I may have to go back and reread that just to make myself feel better  Red Love

I switch between Sucker and Living too - I love how different they are to each other: just shows how versatile Matthew's writing is.
