Even better - splintered time travel, no way to control it.  Although it seems to have stopped for now - leaving us not knowing WHEN some of the characters are.

I don't know.  I always though that Ben was a bastard.  But I had been thinking up to the episode a couple of weeks ago that Widmore was the bigger baddie.  But now after what Ben did to Locke, I dunno.

But that the second time he's killed/tried to killed Locke.  Maybe he knows that he can't be killed (at least permamently) and so feels it's ok to do it?  That the ends justify the means. 

I don't know, but I don't like Ben one bit.

Other than who's the #1 bad guy, I see the main questions as being the following:
1) WHEN is Sun?  We've seen Sayid show up in the previews, but nothing about Sun.  For that matter when are Locke and Ben?  I've also noticed that we didn't see Daniel in 1977.  Was he just not around or is he dead?

2) What does that ancient civilization have to do with what's going on?  They've been really subtle about dropping hints, which leads me to believe that its a major factor. 

3) What about the list that's been mentioned?  Something passed from the future to someone in the past?  Because notice it was Sawyer, Jack, Kate, and Hurley that they wanted kidnapped.

OK  So we got Sawyer, Juliette, Miles, Jin, Jack, Kate, Sayid, and Hurley in 1977.  Sun, Ben, Frank, and the new crash survivors in what we presume is 2007.  Where  or WHEN is Daniel Faraday?  And where are the rest of the 815 survivors?  And is Christian alive??  Is the island that powerful??  I feel like telling Kate to keep her hands off of Juliette's man.  I also wonder when the baby trouble started.  Anybody got any theories on the ancient civilization that was obviously once on that island?  Didn't that one statue just have three or four toes??  Aliens perhaps??  Yeah, I'm all

I don't know where Daniel is, but I'm assuming he's in 1977 also.  Maybe he's become some weird recluse like Danielle Rossou (I don't know how to speel her name, sorry!) because Charlotte remembers him hanging around the town sometimes.

Oh, I know!  I just want to yell at both Kate and Jack and tell them to keep away from Sawyer and Juliette! lol  I'm really happy for those two and I've alway's shipped Kateg/Jack harder than Kate/Sawyer (although, damn were they hot!)

I don't know about the ancient civilzation, they do have either three or four toes though.  But I have a feeling we won't find out about that until end of this season or next season.

It is so weird seeing baby!Charlotte, Ethan, and Ben!  When Amy said they were going to name the baby Ethan I was like, "Throw him to the ground and stomp on him!" and then I thought "Aww poor baby is gonna grow up to be an evil guy - he never had a chance"  Sorry, I hate Ethan the most out of everyone on this show, Charlie's still my favorite charecter and I can't forgive him for what he did to him back in season 1.  I really really really hate that one eyed guy though....bastard........I miss my Charlie! 

I am very curious about what happened to the rest of the 815 crew.  Are they just wandering around the forest in '77?  Did they assimilate into the Others?  Are they living out on beach??

1. I'm not sure that Ethan is necessarily evil.  He's simply shaped by his environment and the events in his life.  He was obvously obsessed with CLaire's baby and would do ANYTHING to obtain him.  I think we're gonna find out why he was that insane about it.  It was so wierd, I actually jumped a little when she said the baby's name was Ethan.  Did you notice Juliette was real quick to put him down after that? 

2. We don't know what time the rest of the 815 gang is in.  That's one of the things that's driving me totally bonkers. 

3.  Sawyer told Jack that Daniel wasn't with them anymore.  Is he dead or did he jump to another time?

4.  (I just thought of this one) Why was "Dharmatown" abandoned?  Where are all the Others?

In regards to Ethan, I'm just incredibly biased and will never be able to see any other way lol  I hate and he will always be evil to me for hanging Charlie and torturing Claire like that.  But yeah, I did notice that Juliette was did put Ethan down as soon as she should after finding out who he was.

I think Daniel stays in that time (1977) , mainly because they said they stopped jumping and he was so certain that they had stopped jumping through time.  Although I guess it's possible that he eventually did find a way to another time.  However, I feel he stayed in that relative time period and probably eventually left the Island because Desmond had those flashback/memory things last season where he went to go see Daniel at Oxford like 10 years ago (1996) and he looked the exact same....or there was sometime where we saw Daniel in the past and he looked the same? (I'm probably just getting him confused with the hot Other with the eyeliner - I can't think of his name - but he does stay the same through all times) And there's his notebook that he refered to like it was his bible during season 4 that had stuff written down in it about what had already happend (or what was going to happen) -- I think at least that's what it was.  I could be so wrong, I'm really trying to just pull this stuff from memory....

I wonder why Sun didn't get pulled with Sayeed, Kate, Jack, and Hurley?  I can understand Locke since he was dead, but I think it's odd that Sun was left behind.  Other than the fact it's good for the story line lol

So I've started watching Lost all over again, back at the very beginning.  Do you all remember when they found those two mummies or bodies or whatever in the cave, the man and the woman?  Locke called them "our very own Adam and Eve".  Later on in that episode, Kate says "I don't want to be Eve".  And it hit me right then, those two bodies could very well be Jack and Kate.

There's this older guy at my work who is obsessed with LOST and he has like the brain of a rocket scientist     and Ive been trying to pull him aside and ask him his thoughts on LOST but i just haven't had the chance with out getting in trouble for standing around and talking...lol  But I'll let you know what he thinks once i get the chance.

Yeah, I just remembered "Adam and Eve" about a month ago and got curious if we'd ever find out who they were.  It'd be so crazy if Jack and Kate were them!

Christian Shepard.....I don't know about him.  He's so odd.  I feel like he's alive now, tha the Island brought him back to life.  But then has he been alive for the entire time?  When Jack saw him back during season one (I think the episode was "Man of Science Man of Faith?" I could be wrong.) was he alive or just an ghost/hallucination?  I certainly got the feeling that Jack was just seeing things, that no one else could see Christian.

And yeah, Wednesday's episode was like, WHAT?!?  I don't think Ben is actually dead though...and Jin's ok, right?  He's just knocked out right?  Not dead??  He better not be...I'm a bit worried though.  And since Ben's the bad guy and he only got shot in the chest, I think there's a decent chance that he's alive and someone will find him and save his life.  Or else what do you think will happen to 2007 Ben?  Fade away and disapear Back to the Future style or suddenly get a gun shot wound and die? lol  Time travel always boggles my mind....

I think it took the island a while to bring Christian back because he didn't die there and he hadn't been on the island before.  I don't think Ben is dead, someone will save him.  If we believe Faraday's theories, I think it would be impossible to change the future.

A thought just occured to me.  If Ethan was born to members of the Darma initiative, how did he survive the massacre?  And when and how did he get his medical training?

Do we know when the massacre is?  Because if it's enough years away then there's a chance for Ben (if he ends up living [which he will] and stays in Dharma and not with the Others) to befriend Ethan - even though that is quite the age difference.  But maybe Ethan grows into an odd little boy who is outcasted by his playmates and so he and Ben become friends of convience and Ben sways him to the the dark Other side.

Awww I'm so sad for Kate.  I almost cried when she left Aaron!  But I'm glad that we know where he is now and what happened to him.

I still don't really understand why they were trying so hard to save Ben.  I mean, I get that he's a kid and I would have had my heartstrings pulled probably if I was in that situation, too.  But still, he's Ben!  He is so evil and horrible!  I wouldn't be able to bring myself to help save him, I guess I'm kinda evil too....

I loved loved loved how Hurley brought up Back to the Future!  That cracked me up.  Waiting to watch himself disappear lol  That was great.  Miles and Hurley's time line converstations were probably my favorite part of this episode!

And when Richard took Ben and said he would forget and change and lose his innocence...it was like watching history happen for Sawyer and Kate.  It was really cool.

Why does Richard never age?  How old is he really if he's been around for so long?  It's like he exists in all timelines...so crazy....does it have to do with the monster's temple?  What is going on in it?  Can't wait for next week!

Just finished watching LOST!  Not my favorite episode, probably because it was Ben-centric.  I did like getting the backstory though.

I was really worried about Penny for a couple of minutes though!  I didn't think he actually killed her simply because that sounded too awful for me to believe, but I was worried.  I'm so glad they're all ok!

The temple/monster part was pretty cool, though.  I kinda feel bad for Ben (weird, huh?) having it be the form of his daughter to threaten him.  It's going to be interesting to see Ben following Locke's orders!

OK  I must really be  catching on to the vibes of Lost cuz I was a step ahead of them a couple  times tonight.  I knew they were gonna say that Miles was from the island and I knew that Dr. Chang was his father.

I finally got to see the 100th episode of Lost.  Once again, I must be tuning into the vibes of Lost because I KNEW Charles was Miles' father.  And as sorry as I am that Twitchy got shot - I'm even madder that they messed things up for my Sawyer.

I'm so sad that Daniel died!  And it's so heartbreaking too!!  His own mother   It's too sad....

So much happened in this chapter, I really hope that Sawyer and Juliette get out ok!!!

-the next day Ben goes after Desmond and Penny
-Oceanic 6 + Ben catch plane back to the Island

After the scene in the church (after the meeting with Dan's mom) when Jack and Ben are talking about Locke's "suicide" they part ways, Ben says he has to go see a friend or has unfinished business or something like that and that he will see Jack tomorrow (or two days later?) on the plane?  I think that's how it goes down.  Then the next day he attacks Desmond and Penny, get's beat up by Desmond, and then later that day or the next day is when they leave.  I feel like it's the next day (so two days after the meeting with Dan's mom) because I'm pretty sure we saw Ben all bloody and using a pay phone at night.

I think that's just another part of the statue, or maybe part of the island sank?  The fact that somebody asked what happened to the rest of the statue should have clued us in that its imortant.
