OK If you were Anorian, what would you do and which Sibling would be your boss? Hopefully, I would be working in the House of Art as a writer. Perhaps as an assistant to the Head Writer Matthew Haldeman-Time. Or if Kikarin really doesn't want the job, I'll take over for her.

Orinakin would be my boss, of that I am certain.
I have a question though, now that you mention it... how come there aren't any doctors in the Siblings? I mean, I know nobody can get sick in Orina Anoris, but people can get injured and sick people come to Orina Anoris all the time. It's always something I've wondered.

Actually, the "doctor" of the Siblings is Anoremin. Remember? One of Remin's greatest talents is as a healer. (Recall when he was helping Desin at the animal clinic, and they found out that a horse was getting abused by the son of his master. Remin doesn't just heal animals--he heals people, too.) ---- Also, if I recall correctly, all (or at least most) of Inanodu's priests are probably healers. (Just like priests of Itanoka are probably all (or mostly) teachers. Ex: Ch.120: The school there was run by Pakimenir, the local priest of Itanoka, who was too awed by Kudorin’s presence to be intimidated by Xio Voe.) Priests in Orina Anoris aren't the same thing as priests in our world, in many ways. Anyway, evidence for Inanodu priests being healers: Ch.54, last scene, Kudorin talking to Rini: "You smile and greet a guard, and he realizes that maybe the children of the gods are aware of his efforts on their behalf, that maybe he isn’t as taken for granted as he assumed. And if that’s true of the children of the gods, perhaps it’s true for the gods themselves, as well. His improved attitude leads to stronger faith, which he passes on to his children. His daughter becomes a priest of Inanodu and dedicates her life to healing others. Imagine how many lives she’ll touch, all because of a simple encounter in your life.”- Jae

Thanks Jaefire but what's your answer? I'm betting either Selorin or Remin.

Answer: Remin. That's why Selorin heads the conferences on education and is generally seen as in charge of education (see Ch.72.4, last scene of Ch.123, short story "Royal Greetings"). He's the teacher, in a sense (though really, they're all teachers, in their own ways). - Jae

So you'd be working for Remin?

I'd go with ITL 39.6, when Remin heals the girl at the festival.
As for the initial question, I'd work in the Royal House of Art and help Liz get a promotion so she can work more closely with the royal artist.

Ah, sorry about that! I misread your question and completely forgot about the initial query on this thread. I'd work for Talin. As an editor, critic, and publisher, if he has those positions. - Jae

I would assume he does, since all good literature needs those. And Matthew, I'd be happy working as your gofer.

I would love to work under Desin....yep, I certainly wouldn't mind working under him. Selorin, since I work in education. Although I probably wouldn't be much help in revolutionizing the educational system, if/when Xio Voe ends up doing that. "Books are preeeety. Wait, what do you mean the planet revolves around the sun? Do you mean that metaphorically? Because I could totally dig you meaning that metaphorically. No? Are you sure?"

Why ITL fans should not speak on the phone:
Jae: I love Xio Voe. I want to nom him. Nom nom nom. Rhia: Don't chew on the Heir to the Jacacean Empire, dear. Jae: But I want to! Why must you kill my dreams?

Books! I love books! Books are amazing!!!
I'd have a great amount of time talking to Xio Voe about everything! I'd probably talk his ear off.

I've already submitted my application to the Royal House of Art and I'm just waiting to hear back from them. When they say "We'll keep your application on file," thats a good thing, right? - Diamond

In your case Diamond, I'd say that some jealous twit has been hiding your work from Talin. Or maybe Talin's heard the nasty things you've said about his future husband.

Nah. I'm thinking that some people are terrified that you're going to take their place, Diamond, and therefore don't want to show Talin your application, like Liz said. But don't worry, you'll get in and work alongside Talin and create the most beautiful things the world has ever seen!!
Yay for Diamond and Talin!
