- Ben-Hur
- You've Got Mail

- The Sixth Sense
- Anything Disney (that includes Pirates of the Caribbean!!!!)

I just watched 'Cars', and again, I thought it was the cutest thing ever SmileySmiley  Yay!

I love movies like I love books.  Which means that I don't have just one favorite, I have many, because my favorite depends on my mood at the time.  Like books, I feel like there are just too many awesome ones to choose just one, because movies can be amazing for different reasons.  Sometimes I love something because the entire film's a masterpiece, but sometimes it's just the mind-blowing fight scenes, or the mood of a movie, or just the way it makes me feel at the end of watching it, or how it made me think.

I'm lazy, so I'll just post what I have on my facebook (I'm sure I'm missing a few):

The Godfather: Part I & II, The Recruit, The Bourne Identity, Enemy at the Gates, Tigerland, Rounders, Brokeback Mountain, Cruel Intentions, Life as a House, Tristan and Isolde, Moulin Rouge, Shakespeare in Love, Good Will Hunting, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Jane Eyre, Finding Neverland, Les Miserables, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Schindler’s List, Grave of the Fireflies, Se7en, How to Make an American Quilt, A Walk to Remember, Frida, A Home at the End of the World, Amelie, Donnie Darko, Amores Perros, La Mala Educación, Interview with the Vampire, Practical Magic, The Motorcycle Diaries, Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2, The Matrix Trilogy, Return of the Sith, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Gladiator, Braveheart, Maverick, Ned Kelly, The Patriot, Forrest Gump, Liar Liar, Legends of the Fall, 10 Things I Hate About You, My Fair Lady, Down with Love, You’ve Got Mail, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Princess Bride, Sleepless in Seattle, Under the Tuscan Sun, Pretty Woman, (Disney Movies: The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Finding Nemo), The Long Hot Summer, Sixteen Candles, Phantom of the Opera, Memoirs of a Geisha, House of Flying Daggers, Big Fish, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Wall-E

Mmmm... The Patriot... awesome movie.

I forgot to add Schindler's List to the movies I love.  That movie never fails to make me cry, and when the women end up in Auschwitz, it always sends shivers up and down my spine... it's horrible.

But I love the ending, because he saves everyone Smiley

*squeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*

The Man In The Iron Mask!!  Gabriel Byrne!!!!  *PERK*  Excellent choice!

Ohh, now, for some reason, I wanna watch Romeo + Juliet...

Two households
Both alike in dignity
In fair Verona where we lay our scene
From aincient grudge break to new mutiny
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers...
Take their life

(that's all I'll say.  Don't encourage me there, I could give you the entire play... didn't mean for that to rhyme lol.)

And she's not kidding - she really can quote all of Romeo & Juliet, and most of the LOTR trilogy too.

Lol. When you have Gabriel Byrne, Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Gerard Depardieu and Leonardo Dicaprio in one amazingly written movie with a great soundtrack, the result is squeal-worthy indeed.  Love

Did anyone see Revolutionary Road with Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio? Weeks after having watched it, I'm still not getting it...  Sad Head Shake

Nope,  didn't see Revolutionary Road.  Doesn't really appeal to me.

We were supposed to go see 'Twilight' with my best friend, but, as it turns out, she's got no money, and I'm not going to pay for her movie ticket because I've paid for a few things for her this past week, so... no 'Twilight'.

On the other hand, I saw the movie 'The Covenant' last night... yikes?!  I found some new inspiration for one of my male characters in Mr. Toby Hemingway who, by the way, looks like Draco Malfoy should in the HP series *nod*.  Delicious.

K, I'm getting out of this basement before I freeze.  Smiley

Wow. Lots of LOTR fans here, me included.

I haven't seem Revolutionary Road yet.  I'm more interested in watching The Reader, also with Kate Winslet.

I'm into anime right now.  I've watched some of Hayao Miyazaki's films: Howl's Moving Castle (with the voice of Christian Bale), Spirited Away,  Princess Mononoke, Nauusicaa, and Kiki's Delivery Service.  I love Elfen Lied as well.  I strongly agree that In This Land can be made into an anime.  Junjou Romantica turned out great, so it's feasible with ITL too.

I have about 2000 DVDs so it's hard to pick just a few favorites.  I like women who kick ass so Resident Evil, Serenity, and Underworld is up there.  I also like horror films so The Ring, Evil Dead, and The Exorcist will be included.  Some indie films I like are Particles of Truth and Latter Days. The Count of Monte Cristo, Everafter, The Village, and Sabrina are a few more.

*Remembers that things live under the bed and turns off the movie*

Maybe My Little Pony would be better for me...
