My tastes are pretty eclectic. My ipod has pretty much everything. (Most of them a couple of years old) From Andrea Bocelli to 30 Seconds to Mars. Classical. Rock. French music, German music, Italian music, Spanish music (I even have a couple of Romanian songs...  Hmmm). African, Portuguese, Brazilian. Lil Wayne, Pavarotti, Tokio Hotel ( Bag over your head).

Okay, lemme share a tune. I'll play it safe this time so as not to scare people off (no opera this time  Wink ).

Recently, I've been listening to a whole lot of k-pop.  (Pop music from South Korea.)

Before that, it was the Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, 98 Degrees, O-Town.

Before that, it was everything I could get my hands on.

Music tastes?

Uh... you know... apart from the glaringly obvious (BACKSTREET BOYS!!!), I love instrumental score music.  You know, Howard Shore (The Man), John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Hans Zimmer, Craig Arsmtrong.

I'm currently listen to the Eragon soundtrack.  Or a song from the soundtrack that just randommed on my Ipod.  Before that, I had Britney Spears' 'Mannequin' playing.

Really, I listen to anything other than polka and.... you know... It-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.

Smiley

Oh... and just now... 'Tootsie Roll' just randommed... freaky?  lmao

Granted, I have over 2,700 songs on my Ipod, so I can't control what's going to pop up on it...

I'm bored!!!!!!!

2,700 songs?!  Shocked  I'm always changing the songs around on mine so that I never have more than 600 something. Otherwise I end up skipping and skipping and skipping.

I've never listened to Britney Spear's Mannequin. Bag over your head But I really like 'Piece of Me'.

For classical, I listen to mostly solos. Franz Liszt, Chopin, Tarrega... I find them more calming.

My boybands phase is over. The only BSB songs I have on my ipod are: Hey Mr. DJ, If You Want it to Be Good (Bad Boy) and something else.  Hmmm

I used to be a pure metalhead - 70s & 80s Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.  I like a lot of 80s music in general.  I'm a HUGE boyband fan - BSB being #1 there.  I also like Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy, and 30 Seconds to Mars.  But my absolute favorite band in the world is My Chemical Romance.  Those guys are my angels.

I just love my Backstreet Boys.  I have about 500 of their songs on my Ipod.

And they're not a boyband, they're a 4-part (used to be 5) harmony pop vocal group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Smiley

Yes, yes, I love my Backstreet Boys and I miss the Unbreakable Tour.  Went to 8 shows this time around and met the Boys uh... as a group... 6 times (although once Brian wasn't there cause he was sick).

What's playing on my rhapsody right now?

Cry Me A River - Justin Timberlake...

What's playing next...it's on shuffle, so it could be Nickelback, Elliot Yamin, or hell even Jay-Z or the Cadillac Records sound track...

If it is good, I'll listen to it...

Cry Me A River - Justin Timberlake...

That's a funny coincidence -- my godmother sent me the video for that song tonight because she, and I quote, finds it "creepy and fascinating."

I'll listen to nearly anything, and there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to what I like and what I don't. I did just splurge on some pricey headphones, though, which makes me happy... they completely drown out the noise of my daily commute. Right now, I'm listening to Lily Allen's "Smile." (Side note: Jae loves this song, which I take as further evidence of why I need to not look at spoilers. Pain of death.)

The Cry Me a River video is creepy, and yet somehow strangely sexy.  Or at least, I used to think so.  I haven't been happy with Mr. Timberlake since I heard he made Lance and Joey cry.

I like 'Cry Me A River'.  But my favorite JT song is... well... I dunno... it's a tie between 'Summer Love', 'My Love' and 'What Goes Around'.

My favorite song ever in the history of music is 'I Want it That Way'.

Non-Backstreet it's... 'Into The West' by Annie Lennox.

This is a great thread!

Music I love, Backstreet (Always), 90's Pop is good, old school No Doubt, Linkin park, Panic at the Disco, Cobra Starship, The Academy Is... and My Chemical Romance is always good.

O! I love Maroon 5, The Cab, and a group called Empires. If you think you might be interested you can dwld their CD for free @ weareempires.com  (Sorry shameless plug  Angel - and I don't even know them personally!).

I will pretty much listen to anything though that I think is good. Surprise hit for me this last year was Apocalyptica's song "I Don't Care". They are a rock band with Cellos!  I  Red Heart it!

Maybe...

Well... a little...

Okay!  I am!

Sigh I was in tallahassee and away from all of my Backstreet friends when I sound out. I was spending the weekend with my guy-friends from Highschool and not ONE of them even cared!

It was really hard. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Megan and our friend Jeannette that weekend.

When Kevin came on stage and performed at their last concert this tour I. ABOUT. DIED. (and I was watching it on youtube!) It gives me this little bit of hope!

Twitters?  What am I missing?  I seriously love them all.  I just got the two DVD sets and I'm still missing their first album.  Gerard and Frank are my OTP, they seriously belong together.  Their wives are just covers.  That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Ooohh Howard Shore!!

Narf, I don't have my Ipod with me today so I can't listen to the Shelob theme (it's nifty, if a little freaky).

*swings Sting* Let him go, you filth!  You will not touch him again!!!!!!!

I checked them out! It's very original. I think "I Don't Care" could be 'heavier', but I'll try their other songs for sure! Thanks for mentioning them.  Wink

In Lance's book, he talks about how he and Joey cried when Justin made the decision not to record another Nsync album.

*hops away from Diamond*

Justin's a Cursing.

A sexy Cursing, but a Cursing nonetheless.

He has a nice voice too.  And he's hot when he's clean-shaven, and I kinda really liked him when he did that Seventeen spread...

As an avid Backsreet teenie/fanatic/obsessive freak, I'm all for *Nsync not recording a new album.

Except that I have all of *Nsync's albums and I kinda think they're good.

Kinda.

Be quiet.

How'd we get onto this topic?
